Product Description

The Autonics PRT12-2DO is a cylindrical inductive proximity sensor designed for precise, non-contact detection of metallic objects in various industrial applications. With a sensing distance of 2 mm and a flush (shielded) installation type, it offers reliable performance in environments where space is limited. The sensor features a 12 mm diameter sensing side and operates with a 2-wire DC configuration, accepting a voltage range from 10 to 30 VDC. Its normally open (NO) output type ensures clear detection signals, and the built-in red LED indicator provides visual status feedback.

Constructed with a nickel-plated brass body and a sensing side made of polybutylene terephthalate (PBT), the PRT12-2DO is built to withstand harsh conditions. It boasts an IP67 protection rating, making it resistant to dust and water ingress. The sensor also includes built-in surge protection, reverse polarity protection, and overcurrent protection, enhancing its durability and reliability in demanding industrial settings
